How TimelessMatch collects, uses and protects your personal information.

What we collect

• Account data: username, email address and an encrypted password.
• Profile data: the answers you give when joining (gender, who you are looking for, age, country, city, what you are here for), plus any bio or photo you add later.
• Content: messages you post in global chat and private messages.
• Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security, spam prevention and performance.

Cookies

We use a signed session cookie to keep you logged in, and a language cookie to remember your interface language. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you ourselves; third-party scripts on the site may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Photos

Profile photos are uploaded to and served from a third-party image hosting provider (Cloudinary). Only upload images you own and are comfortable showing publicly.

Who can see your data

Your username, photo, age, location and bio are visible to other members. Your email address and password are never shown to other members. We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can update your profile at any time from the Edit Profile page. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact [email protected].

Retention

Account and message data are kept while your account is active. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.
